SOUTHEAST MUSIC RECITALS SHOWCASE TALENT OF LOCAL STUDENTS

The Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts and the Southeast Area Music Teachers Association is sponsoring two student music recitals that will showcase the musical talents of area youngsters.

On Sunday, area students in grades one through seven will perform at 2:30 p.m. at Brandt Music Hall on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

A second recital that will include students in grades eight through 12 is scheduled for Feb. 9 at 2:30 p.m. in Brandt Hall.

Both recitals are free and open to the public. Participating students have been recommended by their music teachers and will perform for about five minutes each.
