Southeast Missouri woman dies in weekend accident
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- A Wappapello, Mo., woman was killed after her vehicle struck a tree Sunday in Butler County. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 9:30 p.m. Catherine A. Binger, 49, was traveling southbound on Route W, 13 miles north of Poplar Bluff, when her vehicle ran off the road before striking the tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 p.m. by Stoddard County Coroner Jim Akers...
