Southeast Missouri Climate Protection Initiative to meet Thursday

The next meeting of the Southeast Missouri Climate Protection Initiative will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Books and Roasting Co., 605 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. Discussion will focus on the status of the Girardeau Goes Green Advisory Board, the local businesses go green project, recycling with the League of Women Voters, activities of the Southeast Green Coalition, event recycling activities, a climate change course being offered by the Career and Technology Center, Climate Counters and other projects. The public is invited to attend.
