Southeast Missouri backpack program needs volunteers Friday
The Southeast Missouri Food Bank will pack food for its BackPacks for Friday program this Friday at the Osage Centre. BackPacks for Fridays provides 450 at-risk students in 20 Southeast Missouri schools with a backpack to take home every week filled with about 10 pounds of nonperishable food items...
The Southeast Missouri Food Bank will pack food for its BackPacks for Friday program this Friday at the Osage Centre.
BackPacks for Fridays provides 450 at-risk students in 20 Southeast Missouri schools with a backpack to take home every week filled with about 10 pounds of nonperishable food items.
Volunteers are needed and can work in one of three shifts between 4 and 8 p.m. Preregistration is available online at www.semofoodbank.org/partyforthegoodreg/html.
