Southeast Hospital offers recognition to employees

Southeast Missouri Hospital recently recognized 212 employees for their combined 2,480 years of service at the hospital's 32th employee awards banquet at the University Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Commemorative pins in recognition of five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service were presented by hospital administrator James W. Wente and director of human resources Chuck Keppler.

35 years of service

Recognized for 35 years of service were Shirley Beel of the food and nutrition services and Charlotte Wade, a house supervisor.

Honored for 30 years of service were Brenda Crites, pharmacy; Carol Lehmann, patient registration; Charles Reed, food and nutrition services; Linda Rogers, surgery; and Lula Simpson, information systems.

Pins for 25 years of service went to Margie Abernathy, neuroscience; Gaila Adams, surgical; Deborah Berkbuegler, surgical progressive care unit; Janet Bond, clinical lab; Catherine Magas and Sarah Patzwitz, both emergency services; and Pearla Murphy, personnel.

20 years of service

Twenty employees received 20-year pins: Marvin Ates, Cynthia Beel, Joyce Berry, Janice Bollinger, Sandra Chandler, Cynthia Cody, Beverly Darter, Rose Dean, Judy Hodge-Roberts, Diane Holzum, Virginia Jaco, Teressa Johnson, Jeep McCart, Dr. Douglas McIntosh, Susan Pekios, Ruth Rauh, Jerry Sanders, Karen Scherer, Toni Willenbring and Billy Windeknecht.
