SOUTHEAST HOSPITAL, CANCER SOCIETY SPONSOR UPDATE

The seventh annual cancer update will be held Sept. 28 at the Drury Lodge.

Seminar topics include pain management, breast cancer genetics and Medicare-certified Hospice.

The seminar is sponsored by the Regional Cancer Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

It is designed to educate home nurses, county health nurses, community nurses, hospital staff, discharge planners and hospice volunteers.

Registration fee for nurses is $15 and $10 for nursing students and allied health professionals. Registration deadline is Sept. 21.
