Southeast highlighted in Best Colleges list

Southeast Missouri State University has been recognized among the best regional universities in the Midwest in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.

Southeast consistently has been ranked by the publication since 1993.

The U.S. News rankings are based on graduation and retention rates, assessment of excellence, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, graduation rate performance and alumni giving.

This year's 30th edition of Best Colleges includes data on nearly 1,800 colleges and universities.

The 2015 edition of the Best Colleges guidebook is available at usnews.com/colleges and will be on newsstands Sept. 23.
