SOS

The S.O.S. Club met Monday at the Chaffee Nutrition Center with eight members present and no weigh-ins. Alma was crowned queen for the week and received a monetary gift. The attendance prize was won by D'Orsey. Two are still on the Ball, and the Buddy Contest was won by Faye and Alma.

After the short business meeting the members motored to Faye's home for an October party where they were joined by former members Jean, Thelma, Retha, Norma and Colleen for a potluck dinner, social hour and games.

The thought for they day: The only food that never goes up in price is food for thought.
