ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- The son of the police chief in Ballwin has pleaded guilty to impersonating an officer for using his father's squad car to pull over drivers.
Brian Paul Biederman, 23, of Defiance, entered the plea Wednesday. He was placed on probation for two years and ordered to perform community service.
Biederman admitted using his father's squad car in October and randomly pulling over vehicles in St. Charles County.
One of the people Biederman stopped was an off-duty St. Charles County deputy. Biederman told the deputy he was working a special police detail, but the deputy became suspicious.
