Snoopy's doghouse will land at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport Saturday as part of a radio-controlled modelers air show.
The show will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Concessions will be for sale throughout the day.
This is the second show presented by the Southeast Missouri Modelers Association. The highlight of the show will be an aerobatic team formation flying. Performances of the Show-Me Air Kings will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Demonstrations will be given throughout the day to show the radio-controlled sport to the public. Guests include Snoopy's flying doghouse, a helicopter flight and aerobatics and a piggyback launching of a sailplane.
But the show isn't just for people who like flying radio-controlled planes. Flights will also be available for children who have never flown before.
The Experimental Aircraft Association will offer Young Eagle orientation flights for children. There is no cost for the flights; however space is limited.
Anyone with questions about the show or free flights should call 334-6230.
Also, members of the Southeast Missouri Modelers Association will display radio-controlled models Friday at West Park Mall. Members will be on hand to answer questions or offer information about the club.
