SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Anthony Best, 23, of Uniontown, and Megan Tarrillion, 19, suffered injuries when a motorcyle, driven by Best, lost control in a curve, ran off the right shoulder and overturned.
The accident occurred in Bollinger County, two miles north of Sedgewickville about 1 p.m. Saturday.
Both passengers were taken to St. Francis Medical Center.
In other accidents reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, three persons were injured in two accidents -- near Wyatt, Mo., and another near Essex, Mo.
Three persons were injured in a one-car accident on highway 62, near Wyatt, Mo., about 90 a.m. Saturday.
Injured and taken to Missouri Delta Hospital were Angela Reeves, 35, driver of the vehicle; Julie Hudson, 9; and Jennifer Hudson, 11.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Three persons were injured in a two-vehicle accident, on U.S. Route 60, about three miles east of Essex, Mo.
Injured were Kenneth Tilley Jr., 28, driver of one of the vehicles; Ryan Tilley; 12; and Christen Barbour, 24. The injured were taken to Dexter Hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the Tilley vehicle pulled into the path of a car driven by Richard Howard, 46, of Cape Girardeau.
