BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. - Six people were sent to the hospital after two vehicles collided on Highway 51 Sunday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports web site, the accident occurred around 6:20 p.m. A 1989 Chevrolet truck driven by Lisa A. Abney, 31, of Fredericktown, Mo., crossed the center line and struck a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Tommie A. Reece, 64, of Park Hills, Mo., in the left front.
Both drivers along with the passengers were treated for moderate injuries.
Ryan Burns, 23, of Farmington, Mo., and Ronald E. Wilson, 47, of Fredericktown were passengers in the Chevrolet truck. Philip Lawler, 40, and a 14-year-old boy, both of Fredericktown, were passengers in the Chevrolet S-10.
All six people were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident. The highway patrol reported that both vehicles were totaled.
