The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 7:40 a.m. at Highway 177 and Route W when Donna Fee, 41, attempted to make a left turn and turned into the path of a car driven by Scott Fallert, 28.

Fee, Abby Miller, 11, Ross Miller, 9, Kyle Miller, 15, and Cara Miller, 14, were injured.

Abby Miller was taken by helicopter to Southeast Missouri Hospital. The other children also were taken to Southeast for treatment.

Fallert was taken to St. Francis Medical Center.
