SIU AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO MCCLURE, ILL., STUDENT

Sarah J. Hill of McClure, Ill., has been awarded a scholarship for 1994-95 to attend Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Hill, a 1994 graduate of Shawnee High School, has been selected to receive the SIUC Academic Scholarship, which will cover full tuition charges each semester for which the award is granted.

Hill, the daughter of Joyce Hill and Russell Hill of Cape Girardeau, has received the following honors, awards, and recognitions: Senior Social Studies Award, Beta Club, Honor Roll, and VFW Voice of Democracy Winner. Hill plans to study radio and television at SIU.
