Tami Show, whose recent hit "The Truth" put her on the pop charts, will perform in Cape Girardeau Monday at the River City Yacht Club.
The concert, booked just Wednesday, will benefit local charities.
"It's a great time of the year for us to be able to raise money for local charities and entertain everybody at the same time," said Doc Cain, owner of Port Cape Girardeau.
Show's first hit is from the album "Wanderlust." "The Truth" is the first song from the band to make the pop charts with it's lyrics "I don't want something complicated baby, I just want something simple like the truth."
The band includes lead singers Cathy and Claire Massey, Tommy Gaewnda on guitar, Mark Jiares on bass, George McCrae on keyboards and Ken Harck on drums.
The concert starts at 10 p.m., and doors open at 9. Cover charge is $2.50 per person.
