SINGER NATIVE TO MARBLE HILL HAILED FOR MUSICAL TALENT

Marble Hill native Lisa Lauryn was recently hailed in the Springfield News Leader with having the voice of an angel.

Lauryn, who sings in Branson at Celebration Theater, made her debut in Branson at Presley's last year.

Entertainment reviewer Ron Sylvester of the News-Leader said Lauryn "has an almost angelic voice with a gospel-blues feel that can give you chills."

Lauryn's parents still reside in Marble Hill.
