Sikeston woman identified as victim in I-55 crash

Officials released the name of a woman killed Friday night in a multivehicle accident south of Cape Girardeau.

Kimberly Myers, 44, of Sikeston, Mo., was pronounced dead at 7:09 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Two others were injured the accident that crossed from the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 to the northbound lanes, causing massive tie-ups in both directions on the interstate for several hours Friday night.
