SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is searching for a man alleged to be a gunman involved in a shooting last weekend.
"The investigation has been ongoing since, and this week detectives have developed enough information to charge the missing passenger for unlawful use of a weapon," Capt. Jim McMillen, public information officer for the department, said in a news release late Friday.
Charges on Tevin Terrell Golden, 20, of Sikeston were filed Tuesday in the Scott County Court for unlawful use of a weapon, which is a class B felony, and unlawful possession of a firearm, a class C felony.
About 2:45 a.m. March 7, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety investigated a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Branum and Lora avenues in which a man was shot in the head but only suffered minor injuries.
