SIKESTON, Mo. -- Operation "Rotten Egg," a spring warrant roundup conducted by Sikeston Department of Public Safety with several other agencies, started around 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to the department.
In the last few weeks, Sikeston detectives gathered more than 40 Scott County indictments to be served. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Drug Enforcement Agency, SEMO Drug Task Force, Scott County Sheriff's Department and Missouri Army National Guard "Raid One" helicopter all participated in the effort. When the event concluded, the arrest teams had taken around 25 people into custody.
The majority of the indictments were related to recent narcotics investigations, and several of the arrestees were linked to "doctor shopping." Still others were arrested for burglary, arson, domestic assault and receiving stolen property, according to a news release issued by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

* William Alsup, distribution or delivery of a controlled substance
* Brenda Jones, distribution or delivery of a controlled substance
* Gail Butrum, fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* John Ramsey, distribution of a controlled substance
* Rosalinda Scott, distribution of controlled substance near school
* Jaqueline Thomas, distribution, delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance
* Hallie Bonner, receiving stolen property
* Dana Boley, four counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Barry Brownfield, three counts of arson
* Wilbur Gillespie, receiving stolen property
* Vickie Martinez, possession of methamphetamine precursors with intent to manufacture
* Billy Richmond, distribution, delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance
* Laura Williamson, fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Levi Myers, burglary and property damage
* Charlotte Chipman, fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Barbara Landers, three counts fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Sonny Pittman, three counts fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Nicole Trum-Capron, two counts theft/stealing
* Donna Crawford, four counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Roosevelt Hudson, domestic assault
* Robert Beck, two counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute, deliver or manufacture
* Anthony Rodgers, fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Rachaun Dorsey, unlawful use and receiving stolen property
* Steven Griggs, three counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
* Deanna Wester, four counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance
