MINER, Mo. -- A Sikeston woman has been charged for stealing from her employer.
Kimberly Marie Hodge, 33, is charged with felony stealing. She was released on $5,000 cash-only bond.
The Miner Police Department was called to investigate allegations of an employee theft from Heartland Wood Products Inc. There, they spoke to the chief executive officer and saw records which showed an employee allegedly stole money from the business. After review of the documents and information received, police said Hodge stole more than $115,000 over a period of several weeks, according to a news release.
"We will continue to investigate this incident, as more information will surface," said Chief Chris Griggs. "We take these crimes very seriously and will exhaust all measures to hold people accountable."
