SIKESTON, Mo. -- A Sikeston man was charged with assault and armed criminal action Wednesday in a stabbing that occurred last month.
Parris Marshay Hill, 20, was arrested at his home and remains in custody on a $100,000 bond, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety said in a news release.
Police said Hill had other outstanding warrants in Scott County, one felony county of making a terroristic threat and three misdemeanor counts of harassment. He has a $15,000 bond for those offenses.
Around 10 p.m. April 30, officers received a 911 call reporting that a man had been stabbed. Officers responded to the 500 block of Cole Street and found a 33-year-old Sikeston man with a stab wound to the chest. He has since been release from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
