SIKESTON, Mo. -- Two men were arrested Friday after being identified as the suspects in a Sikeston burglary.

Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter identified Christopher Greer, 18, and Earl McDade, 18, both of Sikeston, as part of an ongoing investigation that started Thursday night. The pair were arrested in their residence by Scott County deputies according to a news release from the Scott County sheriff's office.

While conducting a search warrant McDade and Greer were arrested. Police were able to recover U.S. and foreign coins, other currency and baseball cards.

Investigators believe the recovered items are from a burglary in Sikeston, the release said.

Greer and McDade are incarcerated in the Scott County Jail.

Both suspects were charged with receiving stolen property, and bond was set at $2,500 cash or surety.
