MARION, Ill. -- Coal-mining memorabilia show will be held Saturday in Marion.
The show is sponsored by the National Scrip Collectors Association.
Scrip is money coal companies once used to pay their miners, who used it to buy goods at the company store.
Other mining memorabilia will be featured at the show, which will be held at the Holiday Inn off Interstate 57 at Marion.
The show will run from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. An auction will be held at 6:30 p.m.
