In a phone interview later Monday, Schaff said many of the burglaries took place in southeastern Perry County, where Berkbuegler allegedly stole miscellaneous items from vehicles and private residences.

"We were able to get most of the stuff back and returned to the rightful owners," Schaff said.

Berkbuegler was being held in the Perry County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond Monday morning.
