SHAWNEE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO START CLASSES AUG. 25

Shawnee Community School District 84 schools will begin classes Aug. 25.

Registration for the Illinois school will be conducted in each attendance center on a short morning schedule.

DIsmissal at Shawnee North and Shawnee South will be at 9:45 a.m. The junior and senior highs will dismiss at 10 a.m.

The first full day of classes will be Aug. 28 with dismissals one hour early each day until Sept. 1.

All students entering kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade and ninth grade must have a completed physical and dental examination, as well as current immunization records by the first day of school.
