Dr. James B. Chapman recently participated in the Advisory Board Meeting for Advanced Cardiovascular Systems in LaCosta, Calif., attended by more than 120 expert angioplasty physicians from around the world.
Chapman, a member of the teaching faculty for the annual meeting, discussed treatment of chronic total occlusions with angioplasty.
Other physicians on the faculty panel with Chapman included Dr. Ulrich Sigwart, London, England; Dr. Cass Pinkerton, St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Dr. Geoffrey Hartzler, Kansas City Mid-America Heart Institute.
Chapman served on the Advisory Board for Advance Cardiovascular Systems three years. He holds membership in the American Medical Association, Cape County Area Medical Society and the American Heart Association.
Chapman is associated with Cardiovascular Consultants of Cape Girardeau, Inc. He has served as chairman of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Southeast Missouri Hospital's Regional Heart Center.
