SENIOR CITIZENS PLAN CARD PARTY

A benefit card party for the Senior Center Building Fund will be held June 14. An incorrect date was reported in Friday's Missourian.

The event will be held at VFW Post 3838 on North Kingshighway from 2-4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided, along with attendance prizes.

Tickets may be purchased at the center, or at the door for $2.50 each.

Individuals are asked to bring their own cards and partners.

The Senior Center building is now under construction on North Clark, near the Cape Girardeau Public Library. The senior citizens hope to move by June 24, although the building won't be totally completed.
