WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Senate has approved $27 million in projects for Missouri, including $1.5 million for sewer improvements in Cape Girar-deau.
The money is in the $84 billion fiscal 2002 Housing and Urban Development spending bill, said U.S. Sen. Christopher Bond, R-Mo.
The measure also includes $500,000 for Southeast Missouri State University's NASA science center, and $300,000 to the Perry County Development Corporation to renovate an old Catholic library.
