Southeast Missouri State University and Three Rivers College have expanded their cooperation to add eight more majors covered under transfer agreements, according to a news release issued by SEMO.
The articulation agreements are intended to allow students to make a seamless transfer from Three Rivers to SEMO to obtain a bachelor’s degree, according to a news release from the university.
The eight new pathways are: business analytics, aviation management, financial econometrics, comprehensive chemistry (foundational track), comprehensive chemistry (ACS certified track), forensic chemistry, Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Arts in History.
“It is a pleasure to be able to expand on our agreements with TRC so students have a seamless transfer experience to SEMO to earn their bachelor’s degree,” SEMO president Carlos Vargas said in the release. “I am also pleased we have added three new articulation agreements to make some of our newest and innovative programs available to students transferring.”
Southeast now has 34 articulation agreements with TRC.
The articulation agreements are paired with SEMO’s Transfer Mentor Program, which appoints a mentor for transfers to help the new students through their first semester at SEMO.
