Southeast Missouri State University will receive $142,736 in federal money for widening a 600-foot-section of Greek Drive on the north side of campus.

The money will assist with part of the construction of the transit way for its student shuttles. The Missouri Department of Transportation allocated the funding.

The university contributed $35,686 for the project, MoDOT officials said.
