Southeast Missouri State University will host a meeting today concerning its reaccreditation.
The open meeting will host two representatives of the Higher Learning Commission who are visiting Southeast to study the university's commitment to the Academic Quality Improvement Program, which centers on quality of education improvements and the university improving its overall performance.
Without accreditation, the university could lose federal funding and scholarships would be jeopardized.
The meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. in ballroom B of the University Center.
