SEMO SUNDANCERS RECEIVE BID TO DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Southeast Missouri State University's Sundancers will make their fourth straight trip to the National Cheerleading Association's Division I National Dance Team Championships April 5 through 7 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Sundancers won the team competition at the NCA Midwest regional camp in August and have earned a Top 10 ranking based on a videotaped competition.

This year's NCA dance competition will be taped to be broadcast on both the CBS and USA networks in late April.

The Sundancers have finished seventh twice and 12th in previous national competition.
