A new ranking lists Southeast Missouri State University's online degree programs among the nation's best.
U.S. News & World Report ranked Southeast 42nd in the best online bachelor's degree programs in the country.
According to the university, there are more than 700 students who are pursuing degrees completely online, with more than 500 of them enrolled in its five complete online undergraduate degree programs.
The university said enrollment in online courses has nearly doubled during the past two years, and Southeast plans on offering more degree programs in the fall semester.
Southeast has offered online bachelor's degree programs since the 1999-2000 academic year.
