The Department of Administrative Services at Southeast Missouri State University still has seats available in their fall workshops designed for busy people. Workshops meet two days for 3 hours for .6 in continuing education units. The Department of Administrative Services at Southeast Missouri State University still has seats available in their fall workshops designed for busy people.

Workshops meet two days for 3 hours for .6 in continuing education units.

"If you want to learn new software applications, but find yourself short on time, these classes are for you," said Sharon Hale in the administrative services department. "Basics are outlined in easy-to-follow steps to get you up and running without having to wade through computer manuals."

The cost for each six-hour course is $75, which includes all instructional materials.

Sessions still available are:

Introduction to Windows 95 and Windows 95 for Users: Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 1-4 p.m.

Beginning Web Page Development: Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 3, 5 from 1-4 p.m.

Introduction to Excel for Office 97: Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 19, 21 from 1-4 p.m.

Making Presentations with PowerPoint for Office 97: Tuesday and Thursday, Oct. 27, 29, 1-4 p.m.

Introduction to Access for Office 97: Monday and Wednesday, Nov. 2, 4, 1-4 p.m.

Introduction to Outlook: Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 10, 12.

Business Writing Basics-Punctuation and Grammar: Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 17, 19, 1-4 p.m.
