A Southeast Missouri State University team of three students was one of seven recognized as outstanding at the 1995 Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
The competition took place earlier this year. It was sponsored by the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications.
The competition involved 320 teams from 199 schools in nine countries, including Bulgaria, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania and Zimbabwe.
Southeast's team members were Christina Phillips of Cape Girardeau, Christena Byerley of Mount Vernon, Ill., and Cliff Sodergren of Gilman, Ill.
