Kenneth L. Stilson, an alumnus of Southeast Missouri State University, received his doctorate degree in theater from the University of Missouri-Columbia Aug. 2.
He attended public school in Malden and earned a bachelor's degree in theater from Southeast in 1984 and a masters degree in theater from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1987.
He works as a professional actor. He and his wife, Rhonda Weller-Stilson, formerly of Cape Girardeau, are moving to Florida where he has accepted a job as assistant professor of communication studies and theater arts at Stetson University in DeLand.
