PERRYVILLE -- Classes designed to help current and potential entrepreneurs operate their own businesses will begin Aug. 27 in Perryville.

The nine-week course will be conducted at the Perryville Senior High School library. It is produced by the Thomas Hill Enterprise Center, a not-for-profit community development agency. The Perry County Industrial Development Authority, Perryville Chamber of Commerce and Perryville Development Corp. helped bring the course to the area.

Topics to be taught include entrepreneurship, business plans, legal and tax issues, marketing and record keeping. Faculty members will be businesspeople from throughout Missouri.

Cost of the course will be $300, not including book fees. Two partners may attend for the single fee.
