Section of U.S. 61 reduced to one lane

Northbound U.S. 61 from South County Park Drive to Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. Weather permitting, work will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today through Thursday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
