Section of I-55 to be reduced next week

Part of Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to one lane while Missouri Department of Transportation crews patch the road.

The section of road is between Highway 77 at Benton and U.S. 61 at Scott City. Weather permitting, work will be done Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs.
