Second public meeting about downtown sidewalks is Thursday

The second public meeting about proposed downtown Cape Girardeau sidewalk and placemaking plans will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the second floor of the Broadway Federal building, 339 Broadway.

It's a follow-up to the meeting in September and will provide more detail on two sidewalk-replacement options for Water, Main and Spanish streets between Broadway and Independence Street.

Attendees are invited to view displays and talk one-on-one with the project team to share ideas and offer comments. The meeting will be open-house style, with no formal presentations.
