Second annual school reunion celebrates 80th anniversary

The Alumni Association of Deering High School and Delta High School will hold their second annual school reunion beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday with a tour of the Delta Public Schools in Deering, Mo. This is the 80th anniversary of the public school system in Deering.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at Pemiscot County Vocational School, Highway 412, four miles west of Hayti. A program is at 11 a.m., followed by a lunch buffet served until 1 p.m. Visiting will continue until 3 p.m. A campus tour at Delta Public Schools will begin again at 2 p.m., ending by 4 p.m. Registration for the lunch buffet has passed, but anyone wanting to come and visit may do so. Registration at the door of the Vo-Tech building is still necessary.
