The Shawnee District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America has begun a recruiting drive to sign up youth that have not already joined a Cub or Boy Scout unit. Cubmasters, scoutmasters and other unit leaders from local packs and troops will be on hand at area schools, churches and other sites to sign up youth. Special nights are scheduled for parents and guardians in Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry and parts of Scott and Stoddard counties...

Cubmasters, scoutmasters and other unit leaders from local packs and troops will be on hand at area schools, churches and other sites to sign up youth. Special nights are scheduled for parents and guardians in Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry and parts of Scott and Stoddard counties.

With less than one-third of the school nights completed, 160 new youth have already joined. Boys who joined during September will receive a St. Louis Blues T-shirt compliments of the hockey team at their first meeting.
