Scouts raise flags at new Cape police station

Boy Scouts of Troop 5, chartered by VFW Post 3838, conduct a flag-raising ceremony Saturday at the new police headquarters building in Cape Girardeau.

Boy Scouts of Troop 5, chartered by VFW Post 3838, conduct a flag-raising ceremony Saturday at the new police headquarters building in Cape Girardeau. The VFW donated the American flag and the Missouri state flag was donated by the secretary of state. Police chief Wes Blair commented, "Thank you all very much. That's really, really cool."
