A Scott County man pleaded guilty to federal drug charges Wednesday.
Christopher L. Klughart, 30, entered guilty pleas to one count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Klughart appeared before US District Judge Rodney W. Sippel on Wednesday.
Klughart faces a maximum of 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine, or both, with the court imposing a period of supervised release of at least three years. Drug proceeds of $1,975 was forfeited to the government under terms of the plea agreement. Klughart has three prior felony convictions for offenses including theft, insurance fraud and arson.
Sentencing is set for Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. in Cape Girardeau.
