The Scott County Commission met pursuant to adjournment: members and officers: Jamie Burger, presiding commissioner (present); Dennis Ziegenhorn, 1st District commissioner (present); Donnie Kiefer, 2nd District commissioner (present).
* Minutes were approved as presented: DZ Motion; OK second; Ziegenhorn yes; Kiefer yes; Burger yes.
* Norman Brant, highway supervisor, gave an update on the roads and bridges.
* Tom Beardslee, Emergency Management Director and Trey Hardy, deputy emergency management director, gave updates on projects they manage.
* The commission adjourned until Sept. 25.

* The House of Refuge submitted an application for the 2015 collections from the Domestic Violence Fund on Sept. 29. * Scott County and Bootheel Solid Waste Management will conduct an E-Waste Recycling Day on Oct. 28 at Carnell Collision, 417 N. Main St., rear, in Sikeston, Missouri. Acceptable items will be computers and related items, video and photography items, audio items, appliances, office equipment and batteries from cars, tractors, boats, rechargeable batteries, battery chargers and wires.
* The commission signed agreements with the cities of Sikeston, Chaffee, Kelso and Scott City to provide 2014 tax information.
* The commission adjourned until Oct. 7.
