Scott City teen hurt
A Scott City teen suffered moderate injuries in a one-car crash two miles south of Cape Girardeau on County Road 218, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Derrick Laxton, 15, was injured when the car he was riding in, driven by 16-year-old Joseph Wrinkle of Scott City, ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
