SCOTT CITY STUDENT IS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP

SCOTT CITY -- Cristie Petitt, a senior at Scott City High School, has been awarded a president's scholarship to attend Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg.

Petitt is a member of the National Honor Society, treasurer of Student Council, secretary of Future Business Leaders of America, and sergeant-at-arms of the Science Club. She is a member of Students Against Driving Drunk and band.

She has been named to "Who's Who Among American High School Students" and is an honor roll students.

Her parents are William and Cyndy Petitt of Scott City.
