SCOTT CITY -- Keith E. Kosharek, a senior at Scott City High School, has been awarded a Regent's Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University during the 1991-92 academic year.
The Regents Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors graduating in the top 10 percent of their class and scoring above the 90th percentile on the ACT or SAT. The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years.
Kosharek plans to major in architectural engineering and minor in mathematics at Southeast.
In high school, he is active in the National Honor Society, Honor Roll, FBLA, Pep Club, Physics Club, Spanish Club, football, track and was a recipient of a Bausch & Lomb Science Award. He is also a member of Outstanding High School Students of America.
He is the son of Jack and Barbara Kosharek.
