Terry Hadler of Scott City driving car No. 4 was the winner of the Demolition Derby held Monday night at the SEMO District Fair. Kenny Burton of Scott City rode with Hadler.
Curt Vernon, driver, and Mark Rothweiler, rider, both of Perryville, placed second; Roy Grifford, driver, and Phillip Gifford, rider, both of Ste. Genevive, placed third; Jason Schmelzle, driver, and Aaron Schmelze, rider, both of Ste. Genevive placed fourth.
In the first consolation race, Daniel Hancock, driver, and Mike Wright, rider, both of Jonesboro, placed first; Jeff Trankler of Cape Girardeau, driver, and Wayne Bartels of Jackson, rider, placed third.
In the second consolation race, Stephen Grant of Jackson placed first; Mark Ketcher of Cape Girardeau, driver, and Gary Bell of Marble Hill, rider, placed second; and Kory Singleton, driver, and James Miller, rider, both of Jackson, placed third.
