Scott City man arrested on sodomy charges
BENTON, Mo. -- A 19-year-old Scott City man was arrested Monday after authorities were notified he allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a person under the age of 14, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Department. BENTON, Mo. -- A 19-year-old Scott City man was arrested Monday after authorities were notified he allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a person younger than 14, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
Dillion Dougan has been charged with 13 counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. Additional charges are pending, according to Sheriff Rick Walter.
Walter said that after being arrested, Dougan confessed. Dougan is in custody on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
